The Eastron SDM230-Modbus-MID V2 is a DIN-rail-mounted (2 modules / 36 mm) single-phase multifunction energy meter designed for accurate measurement and monitoring of electrical energy consumption, with direct connection up to 100 A. It combines an RS485 Modbus RTU interface with a 1000 imp/kWh pulse output, and is MID B+D certified (Class 1 IEC62053-21 accuracy), making it suitable for postpaid billing and sub-metering applications that need to integrate into a Modbus polling head-end. Measured parameters include kWh, kVArh, voltage, current, active/apparent power, power factor and frequency.
